TY STEWART AKA CODERED
At the beginning of my fitness journey, I was just trying to figure it all out. I was the student athlete for part of my high school career and continued my fitness journey when I joined the US Navy. After I earned my college degree and entered the workforce, life got in the way and I either didn’t find the time to focus on my health and fitness, wasn’t motivated, or didn’t have proper direction.
It wasn’t until I started working on expansion of the physical space of a personal training studio and working with the personal trainer who owned it that I realized how important my health and wellness was. I needed to find the time, motivation and direction that was necessary to be in the best shape of my life.
That’s when my fitness journey started over.
The studio owner gave me the direction that I needed. Since then, I have participated in 5k/10k runs and obstacle courses like Tough Mudder. I’ve been hiking, biking and white water rafting.
What’s my goal?
I want to help others, especially the busy moms and executives who think that they don’t have the time, find the time, their motivation, and the direction they need to focus on their fitness journey. It doesn’t matter what their goal is … improve their numbers, lose 10 lbs, tone up, prepare for an upcoming obstacle course, run or similar event. I want to help them understand that it’s not just about doing a set of exercises or eating the right foods. Only a small percentage of us out there can do it alone. I want to provide a community that will join me and help me encourage, support and hold each other accountable.
Do you want to be a part of our community? Let’s go on this fitness journey together.
